Theatre is where F Creations started and remains a firm passion for the company. We love to bring brand-new work to life, moving from idea to seeing the production up on stage. We also love to collaborate with creative people throughout the process.

Would you like to collaborate?

The F Creations door is always open to new ideas and projects. If you’re looking to bring an original play to the stage or want to put on an established production, let’s talk.

We can help with the following:

  • Producing the production
  • Directing
  • Consulting and mentoring
  • Consulting on the script

Our focus is on smaller productions that are easy to move and tour. Casts of 10-3 people and a simple set are ideal sized shows for F Creations.

Past projects

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)

This play literally covers the complete works of William Shakespeare. It’s an adaptation of the bard’s works by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield, and was first performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1987 by that same team.

In 2017, F Creations took the show to Cape Town theatres. We performed at The Drama Factory, The Galloway Theatre and the Masque.

“Performing 37 plays in under 2 hours, the witty cast of 3 throw everything at this production, including the kitchen sink.” – Theatre Scene Cape Town

Jam Every Other Day

Jam Every Other Day is a beautiful tale from a mother of six children, all about raising them “on little more than love and good intentions.” Based on the memoir of South African author Emmaleen Kriel, this one-woman show is full of charm, humour and truth.

The script has been adapted for the stage by Erika Marais and Celia Musikanth. Marais’ performance has been widely praised, with audiences being thoroughly captivated by her honest portrayal.

“It’s Marais’ vocal variety and ever-changing facial expression that portray the characters influencing Emmaleen that tell this story well.” – Sheila Chisholm (Weekend Special)
